Jawhara FM, a private radio broadcasting company in Tunisia, has selected the WinMedia Radio automation system to “increase reliability and transform operational efficiency,” says the company.
Among the new products installed are WinMedia’s planning and traffic tools, WinMedia on-air playout and publication modules.
According to WinMedia, Jawhara FM was looking to replace its previous system and went with the French company to automate, streamline and unify its media acquisition, production, planning, traffic, on-air and delivery operations under a single MAM platform.
The WinMedia Radio installation included 15 production, two scheduling and one traffic workstation as well as three on-air studios. Furthermore, four webcams provide live video to Jawhara FM’s website, social networks and Web TV channel.
Jawhara FM also added WinPublish for content publishing on multiple platforms while also aiding the creation and playout of graphics, explains WinMedia. WinPublish also manages social media content, adding an interactive dimension to Jawhara FM’s web TV programs, the firm added.
Launched in 2005 and based in Sousse, Tunisia, Jawhara FM offers general interest, news and event-based programming.
