Sonifex Rolls Out a New DA

Many formats in, many formats out marks the RB-DDA22

Moving audio from point to point and across formats can get complicated if too many formats and destinations are involved. Small utility widget boxes can be overwhelmed or stack up.

For those so afflicted, Sonifex feels your plan and, more importantly, offers a solution, the RB-DDA22.

The RB-DDA22 is something of an all-in-one box. Five digital inputs — AES (XLR), AES (BNC), AES (RJ-45), S/PDIF (RCA) and optical (TOSlink) — can be sent to 22 different outputs.

The digital outputs available are in banks of six AES (XLR), six AES (BNC), six AES (RJ-45) and a pair each of S/PDIF (RCA) and optical (TOSlink). The RJ-45 I/O uses the StudioHub wiring scheme. Sample rates run from 32 kHz to 192 kHz.
