Entercom Communications appointed Joe Rosenthal senior director of digital content.
He’ll work with Entercom’s programmers on editorial and “branded” content found on the company’s various digital outlets. A spokeswoman said this is a newly created position.
Rosenthal has 12 years of media experience, most recently as a consultant with Ogilvy Interactive, developing content strategy and tactics for clients like Time Warner Cable, DHL and Thomson Reuters.
Prior to joining Ogilvy, he oversaw online content development at Vivendi-Universal Net USA (including GetMusic and RollingStone.com) and Scholastic Inc., where he was responsible for launching educational technology sites.
