Rush Limbaugh raised $3 million in about three hours during his annual on-air Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Cure-a-thon.
Limbaugh donated $320,000 and asked listeners to support efforts to find a cure for what is described as the 10th leading cause of death for people age 10 to 24.
This year’s amount was a record for his show. In 18 years, Rush has helped raise more than $19 million for the organization. His show is syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks.
