Jeff Detweiler retired in 2026 from his full-time role at Xperi, where he led the rollout of HD Radio IBOC technology to broadcasters and equipment makers. Over a career spanning more than 45 years, he built a diverse background that included leadership roles at QEI Corp. and Radio Systems, along with time as a northeast sales engineer for Allied Broadcast Equipment. Earlier, he provided engineering services at Broadcast Service Company and served as chief engineer at stations in Cleveland (WWWE, WDOK) and Princeton (WPST, WHWH). In retirement, Jeff remains active through the NRSC ISDWG and IEEE ACDL working groups, contributing to the evolution of how digital content is delivered, synchronized and managed.
