ABC Radio Now in Vegas

ABC News Radio now has a bureau in Las Vegas. Al Mancini, ABC Radio senior producer, is bureau chief.
All music, sports, entertainment and news events from Las Vegas will now be an additional part of ABC News’ regular coverage.
“Being based in Las Vegas allows Al (Mancini) tremendous access to artists and entertainers who travel and perform in that city frequently,” said Heidi Oringer, director of news and entertainment programming, ABC News Radio. “Additionally, Al will be positioned to cover breaking news in that area of the country.”
Los Vegas is one of the fastest growing cities in the country, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
