The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and the Korean Broadcasting Engineers and Technicians Association are inaugurating the ABU Green Broadcast Engineering Award. The award will recognize engineering contributions in development, implementation and/or promotion of green technology in the broadcasting industry in the Asia-Pacific region.
Open to individuals and organizations in all segments of the broadcast industry, the award, which comprises a trophy and a cash prize, will be presented at an award ceremony during the opening session of this year’s technical committee meeting taking place during the ABU General Assembly, on Oct. 12 in Seoul, South Korea.
