Jim Bailey is joining audio processor maker Aphex as general manager.
Bailey was a familiar face at audio equipment manufacturer Tascam for many years. He has also worked at Avid.
At both manufacturers he was involved in product development. Before those careers he was a recording engineer, producer and studio manager in the Los Angeles area.
