The Broadcasting Board of Governors will hold a public meeting Aug. 13 at its Washington headquarters.
A release says, “The board’s agenda includes a discussion on FY 2015 regional strategies, and establishment of new Board special committees. The board will also receive a report by its Special Committee on the Future of Shortwave Broadcasting.”
Expected at the meeting also are Under Secretary of State for Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy Rick Stengel with Ben Rhodes, assistant to the president and deputy national security advisor for strategic communications and speechwriting.
