Comet Reports Surge in Semiconductor Business

Comet, which supplies vacuum capacitors for the semiconductor industry, said it doubled production capacity within three months to more than 1,000 capacitors per week to meet recent demand, a record pace for the company.
Its products include industrial x-ray tubes and vacuum capacitors for the semiconductor equipment industry and shortwave broadcasters. It is based in Switzerland, with North American offices in Cincinnati.
