Two new products allow listeners to add DAB radio functionality to an Apple iPod.
The Roberts Robi is based on the Frontier Silicon Kino 2 DAB IC and can tune DAB and FM signals, including RDS data.
The Intempo Digital iDAB, available in December, offers much the same DAB-tuning functionality except it can also dock in an iPod docking station with speakers for playout. Intempo says the iDAB will be compatible with all iPod models, excepting the Shuffle.
