DG Systems has added a third distribution channel, the Internet, to its delivery options for audio spots headed to radio stations. The company also delivers radio ads by a secure virtual private network and a CD overnight delivery service. The supplier says it now has the industry’s first three-way audio spot distribution capability.
DG Online is the Internet-based order management application. Production directors and traffic managers will be able to use it to download spots to a PC connected to the Internet.
“This capability, in conjunction with DG’s dedicated network, which reaches approximately 6,700 radio stations, allows advertisers to now reach over 10,000 radio stations instantaneously without risk that a spot will get lost in transit,” it stated.
