FCC Hosts Demo Webinar to Showcase Site Upgrade

New site goes live on Friday Dec. 10

To get users familiar with the Federal Communication Commission’s newly redesigned website – which will go live Friday, Dec. 10 – the commission will host a demo webinar on Monday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m.

The website upgrade includes a revamp of the FCC’s much-used Electronic Comment Filing System (ECFS). The resultant upgrade is designed to ensure ECFS will be “faster, simpler to use, easier to navigate and allow for updates to be integrated more quickly,” the commission said in a blog announcing the changes. New features are also in store, including an improved search function.

To prep users for the transition, the commission will host a demonstration webinar on Monday, Dec. 7, at 10 am Eastern. Members of the IT team will walk through the design and features of both the new website and the beta version of the updated ECFS, and will be available to answer any questions.
