The FCC is trying to get suggested changes to broadcast ownership rules ready by next week’s meeting. Much of the big rule-making concerns TV, however radio-TV cross ownership is part of the proceeding, as is a previously-begun proceeding on radio market definitions and concentration. The aim is to prepare suggestions for the commissioners’ vote by spring.
