Triton Digital named John Rosso as president of market development, a new position.
One of Los Angeles-based Triton’s many services is to help media companies manage and measure their digital audience. Most recently, the firm cemented a deal with Pandora for audience measurement.
Rosso will promote Internet audio platforms to marketers and advertising agencies, and will lead efforts to advance the Internet audio advertising industry. He said audio is among the fastest-growing media today.
Triton calls the appointment an important step in its effort to enable marketers to reach the rapidly growing Internet audio audience. The radio veteran was most recently president of Citadel Media Networks. Prior to that, he held various senior digital media and distribution positions within Citadel Broadcasting and The Walt Disney Co.’s ABC Radio Networks.
