Gateway Plays Up Greater Media Install

Computer company Gateway is touting its recent sale of 30 servers for a radio installation in Detroit.
Greater Media Detroit purchased Gateway 1U rack-mounted servers to provide a backbone for its Klotz digital broadcasting consoles, the supplier said. The group includes WCSX, WRIF and WMGC and is converting to digital. It plans to move to a new 37,000-square-foot facility.
The Gateway servers use high-speed dual processors, hot-swappable SCSI drives, 256 MB RAM, 350-watt power supplies and two NICs.
