Harvey Receives Highest Civilian Award

One of radio’s own is honored at the White House.
President Bush is saluting 14 recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom this week. Among them: Paul Harvey.
Harvey has received several awards for his ABC Radio Networks national daily radio programs, “Paul Harvey News and Comment” and “The Rest of the Story,” including the Radio-Television News Directors Association’s Paul White Award and the Marconi Award from NAB. He was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 1990.
