The 2014 Honda Odyssey arriving at dealerships now is the first Honda to offer HD Radio, according to iBiquity Digital.
HandsFreeLink is included on all models, and Bluetoothaudio streaming, SMS and email functions are available with compatible smartphones. The EX adds HondaLink featuring Aha compatibility. The Aha and Pandora interfaces are controlled with a compatible smartphone.
HD Radio is standard in the Touring Elite version of the minivan along with Neural 5.1 surround audio. Tucked away in the rear cargo area is what Honda says is the first in-car vacuum cleaner.
XM Radio is included in EX-L, Touring and Touring Elite models.
Honda is targeting Gen X and Gen Y families for the Odyssey, which the automaker hopes to “surprise and delight” with the upgrades.
All the Odyssey models come with a new, expanded driver’s mirror and the EX, EX-L and Touring models feature Honda LaneWatch blind spot display, giving drivers an expanded rear view of the passenger side road. A rearview camera is standard.
