Hometown Heroes Will Honor Rotella

Fifth annual gala will recognize NJBA president, other community leaders

Hometown Heroes says it will recognize three community leaders at its fifth annual gala and fundraising event. Paul Rotella, president of the New Jersey Broadcasters Association, is one of the three honorees who will be recognized May 8 at the Navesink Country Club, Middletown, N.J.

Mike Jurusz, owner and head chef of Chef Mike’s ABG, and Salvatore Cannizzaro, CEO of Immediate Care, will also be honored at the gala, which will include cocktails, dinner, dessert, dancing and a gift auction.

The registered 501(c)(3) charity explained in a press release, “Since our inception in 2008, we have been able to support over 2,500 families with housing, elderly services, youth services, veteran services and disabilities assistance. This would not have been possible without everyday heroes like you who help Hometown Heroes continue to pursue our mission of helping people in a crisis.”
