David Rehr will speak to the next Conclave.
The NAB president and CEO will be a keynote speaker at the 2008 Learning Conference, themed “At the Crossroads.” It takes place next June in Minneapolis. This will be the first time NAB has participated in the annual event.
Conclave Executive Director Tom Kay said Rehr “has been very vocal in his drive to address radio’s challenges and opportunities.” Rehr recently announced a marketing campaign to reposition radio called the Radio 2020 initiative.
The Conclave is a nonprofit organization that seeks to educate broadcasters; it offers an annual Summer Learning Conference and a Talentrak development workshop, and distributes scholarships for broadcast education.
