Cumulus Media’s San Francisco radio station KSFO(AM) broadcast its morning show from the Palo Alto, Calif., Fisher House last Friday as part of a fundraising effort for Fisher House.
It continued fundraising for the rest of the Memorial Day weekend, eventually raising more than $136,000.
Fisher House Foundation Chairman Ken Fisher said, “We are truly grateful to KSFO and KSFO listeners for their generous contributions to help service members, veterans and their families in their time of need.” He noted, “When added to the totals from the last four years, KSFO and your amazing radio audience has raised over $600,000 for Fisher House Foundation.”
