The Lexus 2013 LS will come standard with HD Radio technology and iTunes tagging. The 2013 LS joins the ES, GS, LX, and RX models which already offer HD Radio technology.
The standard navigation system is displayed on a 12.3-inch, split-screen, high-resolution multimedia display.
Using Lexus Enform with App Suite, drivers can tap into Internet radio, including Pandora or iHeartRadio, conduct local searches through Bing, use voice-enabled apps to make restaurant reservations through OpenTable or get movie tickets via MovieTickets.com. The purchase includes a one-year trial subscription for the App Suite.
The LS features a Lexus premium audio system with a nine-channel amplifier, 10 speakers and CD/DVD player changer. The system can play MP3s and features HD Radio with iTunes tagging. A three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM Satellite Radio is included.
Entertainment and connectivity advancements include Bluetooth capability with phonebook download and streaming audio.
Remote Touch is standard on all models which enables control of many vehicle systems, including climate, audio, phone controls and navigation system. A number of buttons on the steering wheel and instrument panel enable drivers to control frequently used functions like their radio presets.
