“Cap’n” Kris McCoy of Clear Channel station WYLD(AM) in New Orleans was named National Gospel Announcer of the Year by D. Blackmon Broadcasting. McCoy is WYLD’s program director and afternoon host. Blackmon Entertainment, a gospel syndicator and programming network, hosted its second annual Hollywood Gospel Insider Music Awards, recognizing gospel artists, albums, songs, producers and radio personalities.
