Net Listening Up; Citadel Enters Top 10

Internet radio listening is up 99% this year, according to MeasureCast. The research firm also said its index that measures trends in time spent listening has increased more than 560% since January a year ago.
Clear Channel’s JazzFM retained the top spot in the rankings of Net radio stations for the week of April 8. Virgin Radio, WQXR(FM) and KING(FM) followed.
The Clear Channel Worldwide network of online stations held its top network ranking. Citadel Interactive Network made its first appearance in the MeasureCast Top 10 Internet Radio Networks ranking, at number 10.
