NextMedia Buys FM in Chicago Area

NextMedia will acquire WZCH(FM), which covers suburban Chicago and East Dundee, Ill. The seller is Entravision Communications Corp.; the price tag is $5 million cash. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter.
Skip Weller, president/COO of NextMedia’s Radio Division, stated, “WZCH is the perfect complement to our suburban Chicago cluster.”
NextMedia has 60 stations in 15 markets.
