Fans of NPR can get a cognitive start to their new year with a series of puzzles and games, humorous production commentary and a tricky political push button quiz in National Public Radio’s 2004 calendar.
Highlights from the calendar include January’s “Eye Openers” game, in which NPR listeners are asked to identify the unfamiliar eyes of NPR personalities, and May’s collection of old photos and a timeline of big news stories and notable dates from the organization’s history. Our advice: check to see if the learning cap still fits before attempting October’s passport/foreign correspondents quiz.
NPR’s 2004 calendars can be purchased for $12.95 from the NPR Shop at http://shop.npr.org.
