Law firm Wilkinson Barker Knauer, which is active in communications law, has brought back Travis Litman to the firm, this time as a partner.
Litman most recently was acting chief of staff to the Federal Communications Commission. For many years he was senior advisor and chief of staff to Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel, who subsequently became chairwoman.
“Travis brings unparalleled insights into the priorities of this administration’s communications policy and played a key role in top FCC initiatives including emergency funding, universal service, broadband mapping and enforcement,” WBK said in its announcement.
“He also served as counsel to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, building longstanding relationships and deep expertise with key congressional offices and committees.”
Litman worked at the firm earlier in his career. He holds a B.A. in history from Lewis & Clark College and received his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law. He is based in Washington.
