iHeartMedia and Amazon Ads have expanded their existing partnership to include programmatic audio.
Advertisers using Amazon DSP will have access to iHeart’s streaming audio portfolio.
The companies noted that they already work together on projects involving devices, mobile apps and voice technology.
The new programmatic integration has started with iHeartMedia’s streaming music and live streaming radio, which now are available on Amazon DSP. Access to iHeart podcasts and broadcast radio stations will be added next year.
“The expanded partnership brings Amazon’s trillions of shopping, streaming and browsing signals together with iHeart’s millions of listeners across streaming audio for meaningful reach at scale,” they said in the announcement.
They said advertisers using Amazon DSP can include iHeart’s streaming audio channels in their campaigns to reach listeners on devices like smartphones, smart speakers, tablets and gaming consoles.
Amazon Ads said the partnership allows its Amazon DSP customers to reach relevant audio audiences more easily and with useful management tools.
