Radio Frequency Systems said its system offerings at NAB will include the CPF-series side-mounted FM antenna, a single-channel model available with a power rating of 500 W or 2.5 kW. The firm positions the product as a low-cost solution for low to medium power applications.
This is a new version of the ECFM antenna, offering extended power-range.
“The radiation pattern and axial ratio of the side-mounted CPF-series have been enhanced to minimize tower effects and downward radiation,” it stated.
“The CPF-series will also be available as multi-element arrays in a range of gains, utilizing high-quality RFS power dividers and distribution cables. With the added option of a spherical radome, the CPF-series complements RFS’s existing 828-series of FM broadband panel arrays.”
The company also plans a display of its broadband Heliflex air-dielectric coaxial cable, available in sizes of 3/8 inch to 9 inches.
