SMSJock Eases DJ/Caller Interaction Via Text Messaging

Feedtext says its Web-based technology, “SMSJock,” is available free to radio stations.
The tool allows disc jockeys and listeners to better interact with one another by using text messaging.
SMSJock allows stations to receive Short Message Systems messages, or text messages, from their listeners’ mobile phones. At the same time, SMSJock allows DJs to broadcast news to listeners’ phones such as events, promotions and other activities.
The company says the tool facilitates two-way communication between stations and listeners and eliminates the need for assistants to be involved answering phones and jotting messages.
