SuperTalk Radio Network Adds “America Weekend”

KHST picks up Country Oldies Show

Program syndicator Envision Radio Networks has added the 10-station SuperTalk Mississippi Radio Network as the latest affiliate of the “America Weekend” program system.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (EST), WFMN(FM), WWMR(FM), WKBB(FM), WTNM(FM), WLAU(FM), WRQO(FM), WXRZ(FM), WTCD(FM), WFMM(FM) and WZKR(FM) now air the program on Saturdays and Sundays.

“SuperTalk Mississippi added America Weekend because we wanted top personalities discussing a wide range of interesting, engaging and compelling topics, not just politics,” said David Day, program director of SuperTalk Mississippi.

The America Weekend System is hosted by Paul Harris, Turi Ryder and other talent. It provides a platform to break away for sports and other special programming as needed and because it is broadcast live via satellite, the show is able to address breaking and developing stories.

Envision also says Pittsburg, Kan.-based station KHST(FM) is the newest affiliate of “The Country Oldies Show,” a three hour weekly classic country radio show hosted by Steve Warren.

“Steve and [regular contributor] Debbie [Conner] know their country classics, and I would highly recommend this show to other stations,” said Program Director Keith Brown.

Airing since 1994, “The Country Oldies Show” is America’s longest running weekly radio program featuring country hits from the 1950s to the 1980s. Warren has been a radio personality, program director and radio consultant for over 40 years.
