Tom Joyner Show, Kmart & Glucerna to Support Minority Health Day

“The Tom Joyner Morning Show” on the ABC Radio Networks is helping pushing for improvements in the health of minorities as part of “Take a Loved One to the Doctor Day.” Kmart and Glucerna are among the sponsors. The event is a one-day call-to-action designed to encourage minorities to be involved in family health issues by offering to help them work with physicians. About 1,400 Kmart store pharmacies will participate by providing free diabetes risk assessment questionnaires for customers, free brochures with coupons, and discounts on Glucerna nutritional products for people with diabetes.
