The “Tower Site Calendar 2008” is on sale.
RW contributor Scott Fybush is producing the calendar for the seventh year. Radio World is not involved in its production or sale.
The calendar features a photo each month of a broadcast transmitter site. Fybush said, “A lot of radio engineers invite me to their sites in the hope that their towers will feature in the calendar.”
Sites featured include KFBK Sacramento’s Franklin antennas; Black Mountain’s tower farm, overlooking Las Vegas; KROQ’s Verdugo Hills site near Burbank, Calif.; and WBNS’s Blaw-Knox “diamond” tower in Columbus, Ohio.
