WNYC in New York is preparing to move from the city’s Municipal Building, where it’s been since 1924, to a former printing plant where it will have 12-foot ceilings and 71,900 square feet of space. The move was reported earlier.
The New York Times now looks at the plan and reports the number of studios and recording booths will double, to 31 and WNYC also plans to build a street-level studio for concerts and public forums.
