The WorldDAB General Assembly 2018 is set to get underway in Berlin Nov. 6–7.
Taking place at the Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin, the conference will bring together some 200 industry professionals from the broadcast, automotive and receiver manufacturer industries to discuss the future of DAB+ digital radio.
Sessions slated for the two-day event comprise “Why Radio Is Robust in a Competitive Audio Environment;” “Voice Control, Devices and How Listeners are Consuming Radio at Home and in the Car;” “Digital radio in the Car – Getting it Right;” “Country Marketing Updates – Quick Fire Forum;” and “DAB for Success – New Content, New Brands, New markets.”
This year’s conference speakers include Patrick Hannon, president, WorldDAB; Siobhan Kenny, CEO, Radiocentre, U.K.; Nicolas Curien, board member, CSA, France; Joan Warner, CEO, Commercial Radio Australia; Ford Ennals, chief executive, Digital Radio UK; Col Natee, NBTC, Thailand; Petra Lemcke, CEO, sunshine live, Germany; Antoine Baduel, president director general, Radio FG, France; and Michael Hill, managing director, UK Radioplayer.
