The 2018 Radio Show will kick off Sept. 25 with a panel discussion entitled “Data U — A 101 on Data” featuring iHeartMedia’s Bob Pittman and Entercom’s David Field and moderated by MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle.
The discussion will center on “data and analytic applications and opportunities for radio,” according to a press release previewing the event.
Prior to Pittman and Field taking the stage, Radio Advertising Bureau President/CEO Erica Farber and National Association of Broadcasters Executive Vice President of Industry Affairs and Special Projects Steve Newberry will introduce information and tools that broadcasters can use to glean and act upon radio-related data.
Pittman is chairman and CEO of iHeartMedia. He has previously held leadership roles at AOL Time Warner, America Online, MTV Networks, Six Flags, Theme Parks and Time Warner Enterprises.
Field is chairman, president and CEO of Entercom. He was the 2017 recipient of the NAB National Radio Award.
Ruhle anchors “MSNBC Live with Stephanie Ruhle” and “MSNBC Live with Velshi & Ruhle,” and she is also an NBC News correspondent. Ruhle previously served as anchor and managing editor for Bloomberg Television and as an editor-at-large for Bloomberg News.
