IBC Sneak Peek: Nautel Puts Focus on MW

Will show the NX100 MW transmitter, supplying 100 kW of analog power output

Nautel will showcase the company’s high-power MW transmitters at IBC2016. On display will be Nautel’s NX100 MW transmitter, supplying 100 kW of analog power output in a compact footprint. The NX100 is part of Nautel’s NX line, which encompasses products with power outputs of 3 kW to 2 MW.

According to the company, the NX100, along with other high-power MW products from Nautel, offers 90-percent efficiency, AM precorrection, instrument-grade spectrum analyzers for both audio and RF, remote access to monitoring and control functions, and Nautel’s Advanced User Interface (AUI).

The firm adds that it has recently been awarded several high-power MW projects, including a newly announced project in Hungary to replace an aging two-megawatt MW transmitter for Antenna Hungaria. The project will utilize Nautel’s largest transmitter, the NX2000, and will be commissioned over the next year. Nautel also recently announced completion of the world’s largest digital radio deployment encompassing 27 high-power MW transmitters, all configured for DRM30 transmission, deployed across the country of India.
