Dreamtonics has announced the release of Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro, its latest singing synthesis technology.

The Tokyo-based software and voice technology company said the update to its existing platform includes new voices, faster processing speeds and other AI-powered features.
Synthesizer V Studio allows demo and music producers, songwriters and vocalists to generate vocal tracks by sketching out melodies, writing lyrics and selecting from a library of voices — which are then sung back using AI.
The Studio 2 Pro release features updated models, as Dreamtonics re-trained the AI and reworked the modes of each voice using new samples. “Additionally, even Synthesizer V Studio 2 Pro’s Vocal Modes have been carefully reworked for each voice to become more stylistically distinct,” the company said in a release.

New in this version is a mouth-opening parameter, which alters vowel pronunciation and lets users accentuate specific words.
The software uses real licensed vocals to synthesize custom expressions and can be used as a VST, AU or AAX plugin within songwriting and music production workflows.
