Studio audio equipment manufacturer RME has a new high-end USB audio interface available, the Babyface Pro.
Featuring an unusual design, the USB 2/3 bus-powered Babyface Pro features 192 kHz performance and all of the common connections — XLR and 1/4-inch along with 48 V phantom power and a pad. There’s also MIDI and TOSlink ports for additional options.
Onboard there are two preamps. The tabletop design is made of aluminum and has a jog wheel and pair of 11-segment LED meters. The Babyface Pro ships with RME’s TotalMix FX mixer/processor software for Windows and Mac.
