Radio Show Will Head to Dallas in 2012

<p>&#160;</p> <div>&#160;</div> <p><span style="font-size: small;"> <div><i><span>Paul McLane is editor in chief/U.S.</span></i></div> </span></p> <div><span style="font-size: small;">&#160;&#160;</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;"><span>Radio World has learned that the fall Radio Show will be held in Dallas next year. <br /> </span></span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;">&#160;</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;"><span>Also now set are next year's dates: Sept. 19–21.</span></span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;">&#160;</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;"><span>The autumn convention is produced by the National Association of Broadcasters and the Radio Advertising Bureau; last year it switched to a hotel format. </span></span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;">&#160;</span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;"><span>The venue for next year’s show hasn’t been confirmed yet; but I’d expect that announcement soon, since presumably the organizers will want that information set before this year’s attendees head to the 2011 convention. </span><br /> </span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;"><br /> </span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;"><span>The 2010 event was at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, and this year’s </span></span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;Times New Roman"><a href="http://www.radioshowweb.com/"><span style="font-size: small;">show </span></a></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span>is at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago.</span></span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;"><br /> </span></div> <div><span style="font-size: small;">Dallas also is home to some of the Radio Advertising Bureau's offices.</span></div> <p>&#160;</p>
