iHeart Chooses GM of Digital Programming

Also names Bill Reese as VP of sales for Orlando cluster

HeartRadio recently named Kavi Halemane as the general manager of digital programming, and iHeartMedia Orlando announced that Bill Reese had been named vice president of sales.

Halemane will report to iHeartRadio Chief Product Officer Chris Williams and will oversee a team of programmers as well as Senior Vice President of Programming Bill Cahill and iHeartRadio Senior Vice President of Podcasting Chris Peterson.

Previously, Halemane served as the VP of Premiere Digital Media, where he led the revamp of its digital network. He also worked as the EVP and head of digital for The Collective; VP of marketing for YouTube; as well as a variety of digital, marketing and product management roles at Interscope Geffen A&M Records.

In Orlando, Fla., as VP of sales, Bill Reese will work closely with the sales team to create marketing opportunities.

Reese previously worked for Renda Broadcasting in Jacksonville, Fla., for 15 years, most recently serving as general manager. He first worked for Renda Broadcasting as director of sales. Prior to his radio career, Bill was the division manager for Nabisco Biscuit Company.

iHeartMedia Orlando owns and operates WRUM(FM), WJRR(FM), WMGF-HD, WTKS(FM), WTKS-HD, WXXL(FM), WMGF(FM), WFLF(AM) and WYGM(AM).
