Telos Shows Hx6 Talkshow System

Rolled out at IBC this month

Telos Systems used the IBC Show in Amsterdam to introduce a multi-line talkshow system.

The Hx6, shipping in the fourth quarter, is a six-line system with Telos hybrids and audio processing capabilities, including Digital Dynamic EQ. It works with POTS or ISDN phone lines and comes with dual hybrids for high-quality conferencing.

The manufacturer says the Hx6 uses its most advanced digital hybrids, with DSP algorithms optimized for performance with all incoming call types.

Features include adjustable smart-level AGC; symmetrical wide-range AGC by Omnia Audio; studio adaptation and a “subtle, inaudible pitch shifter: that prevent feedback in open-speaker studio environments.

Caller override improves performance and allows adjustment of the degree to which talent audio “ducks” the caller audio.

Telos VSet6 six-line phone controllers with large, colorful VGA LCD displays ease operation and setup. Status Symbols provide users animated icons that visibly communicate line and caller status.

Three versions of Hx6 are available for use with analog POTS phone lines, ISDN-S (Europe) or ISDN-U (North American) digital phone lines.

XScreen Lite call screening software from Broadcast Bionics is included.
