Cumulus Media has promoted two broadcasting professionals from within its New Orleans station group.
Talus Knight, program director of KKND(FM) and KMEZ(FM) in New Orleans, has been promoted to operations manager for Cumulus Media-New Orleans.
Also, Shawn Williams has been upped to assistant program director of WRKN(FM) and WZRH(FM). She will continue as on-air host for WRKN and WZRH.
The company has also named Kevin Graham as program director of WBAP(AM) and KLIF(AM) in Dallas. He replaces PD Tyler Cox, who is retiring.

Graham moves to Dallas from Boston, where he was brand manager for WEEI(AM/FM) and Red Sox Radio Network and sports radio format captain for Entercom. Prior to that, Graham was PD and afternoon host for KFNZ(AM) and KFAN(AM), for Cumulus Media Salt Lake City. He has also held PD positions for KTAR(FM)/ArizonaSports.com in Phoenix; WXYT(AM/FM) in Detroit; and WEPN(FM) ESPN Radio, New York City.
In Chicago, veteran producer and on-air talent James VanOsdol has been promoted to the newly created position of programming content specialist for WLUP(FM) and WKQX(FM). A release explained, “In his expanded role, VanOsdol will produce content that increases interaction with the social media channels for WLUP and WKQX.”
