DTS CEO to Address Radio Show Luncheon

Jon Kirchner will speak along with NAB CEO Gordon Smith

WASHINGTON � The CEO of DTS, Jon Kirchner, will deliver a keynote address�at the 2016 Radio Show Luncheon.�Also speaking will be National Association of Broadcasters CEO Gordon Smith. Both will focus on the radio industry�s local and global impact, as well as its future.

Kirchner, who served as CEO of DTS since 2001 and as chairman and CEO since 2010, has grown the company from a small startup to a global enterprise. In 2015, DTS acquired the developer and licensor of HD Radio, iBiquity Digital Corp. DTS now caters to the cinema, home, mobile and automotive markets. He is shown at right.

�We look forward to hearing his global perspective on growth opportunities he sees for radio in the car, smartphone and home,� said NAB Executive Vice President John David.

Kirchner�s work has not gone unnoticed. In 2011, for his contributions to the digital entertainment industry he received the Digital 25: Leaders in Emerging Entertainment Award from the Producers Guild of America and �Variety.� In 2012, he received the Ernst & Young Technology Entrepreneur of The Year Award for Greater Los Angeles.

The 2016 Radio Show Luncheon will be held Wednesday, Sept. 21. The 2016 Radio Show runs through Sept. 21-23 at the Omni Nashville Hotel.
