Cumulus Makes Changes in Ohio

Crenshaw returns to Youngstown, Mann returns to WGRR

Cumulus Media has announced a number of changes in Ohio along with changes in New York and Pennsylvania.

For the station group on Youngstown, Ohio, it has appointed native Ohioan John Crenshaw as operations manager. .

“We’re thrilled to bring John back home and at the helm of station operations in Youngstown,” Cumulus Media Senior Vice President Gary Pizzati.

Crenshaw started his radio career over 30 years ago at WOKG(AM) in Youngstown. He most recently served as regional operations manager for 10 Cumulus stations in Grand Rapids and northern Michigan and as program director of WTNR(FM).

Steve Mann

Downstate in Cincinnati, Steve Mann is also returning to his roots. He’ll be hosting a 7 p.m.-midnight show and being assistant program director for WGRR(FM), where he hosted a show in 2006–9. Mann was recently at Hubbard’s WREW(FM) in Cincinnati.

Mann said, “I started my career at WGRR and I’m thrilled to be returning to the station, playing music that I love and working with a group of people that I consider not only co-workers, but friends.”
