Listener Driven Radio Interactive Now “Futuri Media”

New name, expanded management team

Interactive programming platform group Listener Driven Radio Interactive has changed its name to Futuri Media and expanded its management team.

Former executive vice president for iHeartMedia and Triton Digital Media Brian Parsons is now chief information officer for Futuri. Parsons and Chief Technology Officer Brian Seeders, a founding team member, will lead product innovation and software development. Broadcast engineer Craig Bowman, a support engineer at LDR since 2012, has joined Futuri Media as vice president for support, overseeing client services.

The newly named Cleveland-based Futuri brings several media technology assets under its banner including the LDR Interactive programming platforms: LDR1 voting window technology and Takeover, on the air at 400 radio stations and networks; TopicPulse, a real-time social media measurement system for newsrooms and content producers; as well as Futuri Mobile, which designs mobile features and apps for broadcasters, with 150 iPhone, Android, and tablet apps in the marketplace.

LDR platforms empower listeners to become real-time collaborators in on-air programming, automatically adjusting content based on audience input, according to the company.

Of the company rebrand, Futuri Media CEO/Co-Founder Daniel Anstandig stated: “Technology changes overnight and we are passionate about staying ahead of the curve to help broadcast operators connect with their audiences and develop new revenue.”

Everyone on the leadership team has worked as a manager, engineer, programmer or seller at local broadcast, according to Futuri.
