Aldena Takes Antennas to Campus

Following the success of a seminar at the engineering faculty of the Università degli Studi di Parma, antenna technology firm Aldena organized similar events in Pavia and Bologna last December.

Invited to the Università degli Studi di Pavia Department of Electronics by Associate Professor Marco Bressan, Aldena engineers Maximilian Arpaio and Carlo Perotta held a seminar entitled “Design of Antenna and Radio-Television Broadcasting Systems.”

Two days later, Arpaio and Perotta repeated the two-hour technical seminar at Università di Bologna.

The seminar looked at the theoretical bases of antenna systems, the most important characteristics for transmission and reception, and the parameters and criteria used for system evaluation.

Arpaio also gave practical examples based on some of the latest Aldena antennas and on recent Aldena installations in Milan and Bologna.

During the seminars, students participating also had the opportunity to literally get their hands on Aldena antennas and power splitters.
