The first international DRM Symposium in Russia began today, 9 October.
DRM members ????/The Voice of Russia and Deutsche Welle are hosting with the participation of the DRM Consortium and the support of Radio Rossi, Radioagency-M and TRC EFIR; DRM supporter NREC; and DRM members Thomson Broadcast & Multimedia, Transradio SenderSysteme and T-Systems Media & Broadcast.
The symposium, held at the President Hotel in Moscow, runs 9–12 October, and is expected to draw more than 150 attendees from around the world.
Topics to be discussed during the symposium include the technical aspects of DRM, commercial strategies and DRM receivers.
Special DRM transmissions from the T-Systems transmission site in Wertachtal, Germany, and the VT Communications site in Woofferton, England, will be made for the duration of the conference.
