CPB Board Vacancies Could Soon Be Filled

The White House has nominated three individuals to fill vacant seats for the nine-member board of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Warren Bell, National Review contributor and TV writer, has been nominated to fill the remainder of a six-year term expiring Jan. 31, 2012.
Chris Boskin, a magazine publishing veteran and board member for KQED in San Francisco, has been nominated to fill the remainder of a six-year term expiring Jan. 31, 2012
David H. Pryor, a former U.S. senator and governor of Arkansas, now dean of the Clinton School of Public Service at the University of Arkansas, has been nominated to fill the remainder of a six-year term expiring Jan. 31, 2008.
The Senate has yet to schedule confirmation hearings.
