AURN Signs Accountability Deal With Media Monitors

American Urban Radio Networks signed a deal with Media Monitors, which will begin monitoring AURN station affiliates for compliance of commercial clearances.
“This allows us to have better data regarding our affiliates with accurate and dependable tracking of spot airplay,” said E. J “Jay” Williams, Jr., president of AURN. “In addition to the systems we already have in place, we want to provide our clients with the accountability they deserve and every comfort level that their investment in our medium is a wise one to reach the black consumer market.”
Media Monitors recently announced the addition of broadcast TV and local cable to its lineup of commercial monitoring services, which includes radio and newspapers in major North American markets.
